Week 3/52 – Cherish Life

Hello everyone…

Welcome to my blog. It’s a beautiful day to keep crafting 🙂

With the New Year, comes new hopes, new dreams and new ambitions. It is all of these that make the journey of Life wonderful. I was in the mood to make something that brings out this feeling and here’s what I did

A mini canvas…

This was a quick project and I absolutely love the less-is-more bit.

I have used the brayer technique the get the ombre effect for the sun set background with distress inks and acrylic colours to get the desired effect. Once dried I stamped the canvas with Studio G & Hampton arts stamps . Oh yes, I had to use butterflies here to go with the sentiment 🙂 :). And voila, mini canvas is ready

  1. Hello Steetal and welcome to my butterfly challenge. This is such a lovely idea to create a mini canvas. I would never have thought to use a brayer on canvas but I can see that it works perfectly. The colours are gorgeous. Thankyou for fluttering by my inky challenge. Hugs Mrs A.
