Week 2/52 – Grace, Beauty, Joy…

Hello everyone…

Welcome to my blog. It’s a beautiful day to keep crafting 🙂

Second week of the year and I am here with my second project for the #52craftyprojects challenge. Today I have a mixed-media layout to share with you.

I used an old chipboard piece as a base for the layout and glued the canvas onto it. Then sprayed the canvas with Dylusion Inks  and stamped with Studio G stamps. I was very keen on bringing out my stamps and went all out on this with the hexagon, chandelier, stars, script and flowers :). The center piece for framing the photo is an age old coaster distressed.

For embellishments I used chipboard flourish, sentiments, old lace and some cut-outs of pattern paper.

The layout still looks a bit unfinished, since I am yet to decide how I want to display this. But then I was too excited to share this with you all and couldn’t wait 🙂

Thank you for stopping by. Stay beautiful!

  3. This is so awesome! We are so blessed you joined our Challenge weeks ago and would love for you to join our new Challenge still ongoing at Word Art Wednesday. Want to leave you with the inspiration of the Scripture in 1 Corinthians 2:9-10 which says, “But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him”— these things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God. ” Have a lovely week.
